I write this topic because I have received my inquiries online, both via email or facebook, about the tips to get cheap flights to come to the Philippines from different parts of the world. Believe it or not, you can travel to the Philippines with very reasonable prices. The first thing to keep in mind is that the plane ticket is an investment. Especially if you were to come for the once-in-a-lifetime experience, to work and study in the country. We help you. Start now!
Many cheap flights comparison websites started appearing online since years ago. Since then they have taken the world by storm, facilitated much work in the search of flights, saving us time and money. Gone are the days where dozens of open windows and tabs simply to search for the cheapest connecting flights and routes from point A to point B. The chaos in our computer was finally coming to an end. At the same time, more and more people could afford to fly all over the world. Nowadays, there are much differet flight comparison website in the market, such as Kayak, jetcost, agoda etc. The one that has always given me better results in quality and competitive prices is Skyscanner. In the site, you can filter your searches according to your preferences.
For example, you can start by choosing the “cheapest month” filter. Something that is extremely useful. Another thing I could recommend without hesitation is to activate the price warning of the comparator, which will notify you if there is a significant variation in prices. You will always get the feed so that you can make your purchase at the best possible time.
To find the cheapest flights to the Philippines, you must try to avoid peak season such as the December holiday season and July/August Summer vacation season. It is recommended that you search for flights at least 2 or 3 months in advance. According to the various research, the best time to buy a flight will be on a Tuesday because Tuesday is the day airlines update their prices. Hence you are more likely to find the best deals on cheap flights to the Philippines that day. Also, try to choose the day of you flying out and avoid weekends, since leaving and returning on a Friday or Sunday is usually more expensive than the rest of the weekdays.
Another important factor to take into account if you want to save a good amount of euros or dollars is the time of flight departure. Normally flights leaving at night or early in the morning are the cheapest. (However, take note of the extra cost you need to get yourself from your house to the airport at such hours. Do your own budgeting to know whether the money you save on the flight is good to cover the extra taxi cost because the public transportation normally doesn’t work in the wee hours). Lastly, do not deny yourself the chance to visit yet another country. Making one or more stopovers of a few hours can superimpose a considerable saving on the price of the flight ticket. And you get to visit another place. So if you have free visa to the country of the connecting flights, why not?. I hope you find these tips useful for your search online of the cheap flights to the Philippines. If you have better tips you want to share with the world, send me an email and let me know! Our readers thank you very much! If you have any questions about this, do not hesitate to ask me as well :)).
