Good afternoon, my dear readers, how are you? Today I am going to tell you about sunny country and why you should visit it in your life. I have written about Filipino mentality, beaches, amazing places and more but today I would like to convince you to come here when you have an opportunitie.
In my article i will express my point of view and will be glad to see your feedback, leave comments what you think about country with eternal sun, what you like or don’t and your opinions. So, why everyone should visit the Philippines? Let’s discover it together, please sit back, prepare a cup of aromatic coffee or hot tea and let’s start.
The Philippines has a tropical climate that changes with seasons and geographic locations. I live on the island of Cebu, there are much more sunny days here than rainy ones in winter, although from my own experience I can say that it is sometimes quite cool, but this tropical coolness cannot be compared with the frosty Russian coolness.
The Philippines is chosen by travelers from countries where there is a winter season to spend time under the hot sun and relax in the waves of the gentle sea. Wintering in the Philippines is a pleasure that can become a reality for you, dear friends. The Philippines is distinguished by loyalty in prices for housing, food, visa extensions, but always check the details at the visa centers of your country.
Eternal summer, bananas, coconuts, blue sea and white beach are not all that you will see here during winter.
If you think the Philippines are monotonous islands with white sand and blue sea, I will disappoint you. Each island, each province is different from each other, so at times it seems that you are in Europe, and not in Asia. My favorite northern island of Batanes is little Sweden in Asia, where the beauty you see will take your breath away.
Or the South Island of Mindanao, where you will see Muslim mosques and Filipinos practicing Islam. Or, for example, the island of Siargao, which is famous for its Pacific waves, surf schools and a huge crowd of European tourists. The island of Sikihor is mystical and unique, inhabited by ancient spirits and shamans, hereditary mountain healers, who come not only by locals, but also by tourists from all over the world. The Philippines has more than 7,000 islands, most of which are uninhabited, but islands that have life will never repeat themselves.
This country is like a separate world, life is not enough to explore all the differences and continue to wonder. Many of you know that the Philippines is Boracay, night parties, beach vacations and nothing more, but in fact, if you abandon the usual route and choose something else, you will be pleasantly surprised at how different and unique the Philippines can be. And I have not yet said about the diversity of ethnic groups that live in each province of the islands, who speak completely different languages and dialects, follow different traditions and customs, believe in different creatures and of course have their own outlook on life, which they will willingly share with any foreigner.
Filipinos are very tolerant and friendly, accept all difficulties with humor and understanding, they have huge families and boundless love for God and the world in general.
As in any other country in Asia, rice prevails in the Philippines as an independent dish and as a side dish. But, for all my years of traveling in Asia, this country has become a discovery for me in terms of rice sweets. Yes, if you did not know that rice can be used to make sweets, breads, cakes and desserts, welcome to the Philippines, you will be pleasantly surprised by the variety of pastries that include rice.
And again, on different islands and even in different provinces of one island, the recipe, shape and content will differ from others. Also here I realized that by mixing corn, beans, cheese, ice cream, milk, condensed milk, etc., you can get an unusual for Russian, but rather tasty dessert Halo-Halo. Filipinos are very fond of sweets, bakeries, pastry shops everywhere, there is such a variety of snacks in stores that you can get lost. I am indifferent to sweets, however, as well as to fried food, which prevails in the Philippine cuisine, as a real Russian person, I do not have enough cutlets, fried potatoes with mushrooms, borscht, hodgepodge and the etc, without which a Russian cannot live.
But on the other hand, there is a variety of world cuisines, with one BUT… The dishes prepared by Filipinos and Koreans / Japanese will be very different in composition, cooking technique and even decoration, although in large cities you can easily find cuisine with a national chef and enjoy the taste of Asian or European cuisine. I noticed that Filipinos do not eat fruits and vegetables very often, they do not even know that you can make a delicious salad from simple ingredients, although the variety and price of these products is quite affordable. One day I made a beetroot salad and treated my Filipino friends. They wondered how the beet could be used for cooking something and asked where I got it. It lies on the shelves in stores, in the public domain, but they do not pay attention to it.
