[Facilities & Accommodation FAQs]<\/strong><\/h1>\n

1. Is the Wi-Fi at 3D ACADEMY fast? Can it support remote work or online classes?<\/h2>\n

Yes, 3D ACADEMY provides Wi-Fi throughout the entire campus, including the dormitories, classrooms, and all common areas. The internet speed is generally sufficient for online classes, video streaming, and remote work. However, please note that the speed may vary depending on the time of day.<\/p>\n

Online classes at our school are typically held during the daytime (8:00 AM \u2013 6:00 PM), when the network tends to be more stable. During evening hours, more students use the internet simultaneously, which may affect overall speed. We kindly ask everyone to use the network considerately to ensure a balanced and stable experience for all.<\/p>\n

For students who require a more stable connection, we recommend using areas equipped with LAN ports, such as the study room.<\/p>\n

As of May 16, 2025, the results of our internet speed test were as follows:
Download: 87 Mbps \/ Upload: 31 Mbps<\/strong>.
For reference, YouTube recommends at least 20 Mbps for smooth video streaming, so our current speed is considered sufficient. However, please be aware that performance may decline during peak usage times.<\/p>\n

2. Is laundry service available at the school? How often is it provided?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Yes, 3D ACADEMY offers laundry service (washing and drying)<\/strong> for all dormitory residents, free of charge up to twice a week<\/strong>. Our staff will collect, wash, dry, and return your clothes\u2014so you don\u2019t have to worry about doing laundry yourself.<\/p>\n

Each room is assigned two fixed laundry days per week. Simply place your laundry in the designated laundry box, and our team will take care of the rest. Your clothes will be neatly folded and returned to your room after washing and drying.<\/p>\n

Please note: There are no washing machines on campus for student use.<\/em>
However, there are many laundry service shops around the school. In particular, there is a convenient laundry shop located on the ground floor of the MIT external dormitory<\/strong> right next to our campus.<\/p>\n

3. Can families, couples, or friends stay together in the same room?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Yes, 3D ACADEMY allows family stays in both our on-campus dormitory and external dormitories<\/strong>. Typically, shared rooms (twin, triple, quadruple, sextuple) are limited to same-gender occupants. However, family members of different genders can stay in the same room<\/strong> upon request.<\/p>\n

For couples<\/strong>, we offer shared accommodation only in our external dormitories<\/strong>, specifically:<\/p>\n

    If you are a couple planning a long-term stay or traveling with a child<\/strong>, please inform us in advance. We will recommend the most suitable room type and course based on your preferences and needs.<\/p>\n

    For friends traveling together<\/strong>, we can arrange shared accommodation as long as all guests are the same gender<\/strong>.
    Depending on availability, we can place 2 to 5 people in the same room (triple, quadruple, or sextuple types). Please contact us with your preferences.<\/p>\n

    Note:<\/strong> Mixed-gender shared rooms in the on-campus dormitory are not allowed unless you are a family.<\/p>\n

    4. Are there any supermarkets or malls near the school?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Yes! 3D ACADEMY is conveniently located inside JY Square Mall<\/strong>, one of the most accessible areas in Cebu City. Our school facilities occupy the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the same building that houses the JY Supermarket<\/strong>, making it extremely convenient for everyday needs\u2014the supermarket is right below the classrooms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      The supermarket on the first floor of our building is open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM<\/strong>.

            3D ACADEMY provides various school facilities on the 3rd and 4th floors<\/strong> of the building.
            All areas are well-maintained and kept clean<\/strong>, ensuring a comfortable environment for students.<\/p>\n

            Cafeteria (Open 5:00 AM \u2013 12:00 midnight)<\/strong><\/h4>\n

            A relaxing space where students can enjoy their meals and free time. A mini kitchen<\/strong> is also available.
            If background chatter doesn’t bother you, it’s also a great spot to do some studying.<\/p>\n

            Study Room (Open 24 hours)<\/strong><\/h4>\n

            Our self-study room is open 24\/7<\/strong>, allowing students to focus on their studies anytime\u2014especially useful at night if you don\u2019t want to disturb your roommates.
