What had happened to my luggage? Did I get it back?

Nope, this is not the advertisement of Ayala mall, but the information I got from Koi and her friend. Without hesitation I asked for her phone number. Here’s my excuse: “Excuse me, could I have your phone number please? I want to practice English more and have local friends too”

“Are you always frank like that?” haha (her big laugh) “Ok, this is my phone number. If you have any problem here, I will help you. I must go now, see you soon”

“Sure, see you later” In my mind I thought “Wow, I am so lucky! I never thought that it will be so easy to make friends with the local people.” I walk around Ayala mall for awhile. When I tried to go back to my academy I do not know where to take a Jeepney 4L, I asked an elderly woman.

“Excuse me, Could you tell me where can I take a Jeepney 04L please”

She told me “you can not take a Jeepney 04L inside the mall. You should walk out towards this street, turn right and then you can take a Jeepney”

“I got it and thank you so much” I said. Yet in my mind I thought it is too far and I was so lazy to walk. Then I saw a motorbike driver.

“Good afternoon, How much does it cost to go from here to JY square?”

“30 peso, sir”

“OK, let go”

5:00 pm, I was on time. I met Aaron in front of the gate at 3D main campus.

“Let’s go Edward. I will show you around here”

This is the super market (JY Supermarket), you can to buy anything here

When we went back to 3D main campus. JR (the guard) brought me the good news!

“Edward, the staff from airport found your luggage”

Unbelievably, the Airport service is so efficient and they kept their promise. My luggage was still intact without any damage. I looked at the airport staff who was showered with sweat because of the hot weather and I felt super heartwarming. He came all the way from the airport by motorcycle and I guess that it took him 1 hour to reach here. He said:

“Mr. Johnny, we are really sorry for the inconvenience and here is your luggage. Help me to check and sign your name here. Thank you so much”

“It is very heavy. Do you want me to help you to bring it to your room?”

I said “ Thank you so much and I can do it by myself. So do I need to pay anything?”

“No, Sir, it is our fault. Thank you for flying with Cebu Pacific airline.”

“Let me give you something so that you can buy a drink on the way back. Thank you”

I was really touched by the gracious act from the Cebu Pacific Airline staff. I learned something too. When I made a mistake, I need to feel apologetic in my heart and people can feel it too. Thank you Cebu Pacific airline for giving me such a wonderful experience.
