Yes. All of our dormitory rooms—both on-campus and off-campus—are equipped with private bathrooms. This means you’ll have your own toilet and shower inside your room, without needing to share these facilities with students from other rooms or floors.
We believe that privacy and comfort are essential to a positive study abroad experience, and having a private bathroom is one of the key features that makes 3D ACADEMY’s dormitories stand out from other schools.
This FAQ provides more details about the bathroom facilities, what’s included, cleaning schedules, and other common concerns.
A “private bathroom” means that the toilet and shower are located inside your own dormitory room and used only by you and your roommates. You do not share your bathroom with students from other rooms or public areas.
Whether you are staying in:
a single room (1 person),
a double room (2 people),
a shared room (3–6 people),
you will always have a dedicated, in-room bathroom available to you.
Each private bathroom is directly accessible from within your room, ensuring ease of use at any time—day or night.
Every bathroom includes the following:
Western-style toilet with flush
Enclosed shower area
Hot and cold water
Sink with mirror
Towel rack or hook
Floor drain
Basic ventilation or exhaust fan
Some rooms may have slightly different layouts, depending on the dormitory building, but all bathrooms follow the same general standard of cleanliness and privacy.
Soap, shampoo, and toilet paper are not provided regularly—students should prepare their own personal hygiene products.
All dormitory bathrooms are cleaned twice a week as part of our regular room cleaning service. Our housekeeping staff will:
Scrub and sanitize the toilet and shower
Clean the sink and mirror
Empty the bathroom trash bin
Mop the bathroom floor
Cleaning days are scheduled by dormitory zone. You don’t need to request this—it is automatic and included in your dormitory fee.
To help maintain a clean environment between cleanings, we kindly ask students to:
Keep personal items organized and off the floor
Avoid flushing anything other than toilet paper
Report any plumbing issues promptly
While the bathroom is fully functional, we recommend that you bring or purchase the following:
Towels (quick-dry is ideal)
Toiletries (toothbrush, shampoo, soap, etc.)
Slippers for the bathroom (to keep feet dry)
Small caddy or basket to organize your items
Toilet paper (available at local convenience stores)
Students staying in off-campus hotel dormitories—such as Prestigio or YELLO—also enjoy private bathrooms in every room. These are hotel-grade bathrooms with:
Full-size shower areas
Large mirrors and bright lighting
Daily or weekly cleaning (depending on the hotel’s service)
Towels and basic amenities often provided at check-in
These off-campus residences offer slightly more luxurious facilities compared to the on-campus dorms, though both options include full private bathrooms.
Many English language schools in the Philippines—especially budget schools—still use shared bathroom systems, where students on the same floor or in multiple rooms use one communal bathroom.
At 3D ACADEMY, we believe in personal space and comfort, which is why we have installed private bathrooms in every room, regardless of size or price point.
Benefits include:
No waiting in line during peak hours
More privacy when showering or using the toilet
Easier hygiene management
Reduced risk of cross-contamination or shared messes
24/7 convenience without needing to walk to a common area
Yes, to keep the bathrooms functioning well for everyone, please observe the following:
Do not flush tissues, sanitary items, or food down the toilet—use the trash bin provided
Avoid long showers that may cause the floor to flood
Use only approved cleaning agents (if you do personal cleaning) to avoid damaging surfaces
Report any leaks or plumbing issues to the dorm supervisor or front desk immediately
Do not allow guests to use your bathroom without permission
Q: Can I take a shower anytime I want?
A: Yes! You may use your bathroom 24/7. There are no time restrictions, but please be mindful of noise, especially late at night.
Q: Is hot water available?
A: Yes. All showers have access to hot and cold water. However, water pressure may vary slightly depending on the time of day.
Q: Do I need to clean the bathroom myself?
A: Basic cleaning is done twice a week, but you are expected to keep the area tidy between cleanings.
Q: What if I want more frequent cleaning?
A: You may request additional cleaning, subject to staff availability and possible service fees.
Q: Are the bathrooms separated by gender?
A: Since all bathrooms are inside private dorm rooms, there is no need for gender separation. However, dormitory rooms themselves are same-gender unless a family or couple arrangement is pre-approved.
We understand that bathroom privacy is a major concern for students living abroad. That’s why we made it a core policy to provide private bathrooms in every room, across all dormitory types.
Whether you’re an introverted solo traveler, a couple, or part of a shared room group, you’ll always have the convenience and comfort of your own in-room toilet and shower. No hallway walks. No crowded queues. No awkward encounters.
Clean, accessible, and private—just the way it should be.
If you have any questions about room facilities or need help with anything related to your dormitory stay, our team is always here to support you.
