1. Is the Wi-Fi at 3D ACADEMY fast? Can it support remote work or online classes?

Yes, 3D ACADEMY provides Wi-Fi throughout the entire campus, including the dormitories, classrooms, and all common areas. The internet speed is generally sufficient for online classes, video streaming, and remote work. However, please note that the speed may vary depending on the time of day.

Online classes at our school are typically held during the daytime (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM), when the network tends to be more stable. During evening hours, more students use the internet simultaneously, which may affect overall speed. We kindly ask everyone to use the network considerately to ensure a balanced and stable experience for all.

For students who require a more stable connection, we recommend using areas equipped with LAN ports, such as the study room.

As of May 16, 2025, the results of our internet speed test were as follows:
Download: 87 Mbps / Upload: 31 Mbps.
For reference, YouTube recommends at least 20 Mbps for smooth video streaming, so our current speed is considered sufficient. However, please be aware that performance may decline during peak usage times.

2. Is laundry service available at the school? How often is it provided?

Yes, 3D ACADEMY offers laundry service (washing and drying) for all dormitory residents, free of charge up to twice a week. Our staff will collect, wash, dry, and return your clothes—so you don’t have to worry about doing laundry yourself.

Each room is assigned two fixed laundry days per week. Simply place your laundry in the designated laundry box, and our team will take care of the rest. Your clothes will be neatly folded and returned to your room after washing and drying.

Please note: There are no washing machines on campus for student use.
However, there are many laundry service shops around the school. In particular, there is a convenient laundry shop located on the ground floor of the MIT external dormitory right next to our campus.

3. Can families, couples, or friends stay together in the same room?

Yes, 3D ACADEMY allows family stays in both our on-campus dormitory and external dormitories. Typically, shared rooms (twin, triple, quadruple, sextuple) are limited to same-gender occupants. However, family members of different genders can stay in the same room upon request.

For couples, we offer shared accommodation only in our external dormitories, specifically:

• MIT External Dormitory (Twin Room)

• Prestigio Hotel Dormitory (Twin Room)

• YELLO Hotel Dormitory (Twin Room)

If you are a couple planning a long-term stay or traveling with a child, please inform us in advance. We will recommend the most suitable room type and course based on your preferences and needs.

For friends traveling together, we can arrange shared accommodation as long as all guests are the same gender.
Depending on availability, we can place 2 to 5 people in the same room (triple, quadruple, or sextuple types). Please contact us with your preferences.

Note: Mixed-gender shared rooms in the on-campus dormitory are not allowed unless you are a family.

4. Are there any supermarkets or malls near the school?

Yes! 3D ACADEMY is conveniently located inside JY Square Mall, one of the most accessible areas in Cebu City. Our school facilities occupy the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the same building that houses the JY Supermarket, making it extremely convenient for everyday needs—the supermarket is right below the classrooms.

Within the mall, you’ll find everything you need for daily living, including:

• Supermarket

• Restaurants and cafés

• Pharmacies

• Money exchange services

All of these are within walking distance, so students don’t need to travel far for food, supplies, or essentials.

In addition, Cebu’s major shopping malls such as Ayala Mall and SM City Cebu are just 10 to 15 minutes away by jeepney or taxi.

The supermarket on the first floor of our building is open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
For added convenience, the mall also includes:

• A 24-hour 7-Eleven

• A 24-hour McDonald’s

• And right next to our building, across from the MIT external dormitory, there is a 24-hour Jollibee as well as another 24-hour 7-Eleven.

Whether it’s snacks, groceries, meals, or medicine, everything you need is just steps away from the school.

5. What amenities are included in the dormitory rooms?

Dormitory rooms at 3D ACADEMY are well-equipped to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay for all students.
Each room includes the following standard amenities:

• Bed, desk, chair, and personal storage space (closet)

• Air conditioning

• Refrigerator (available in select room types)

• Private bathroom with hot shower (depending on room type)

• Free Wi-Fi access

• Laundry and cleaning service twice a week

To maintain a clean and comfortable environment, Japanese management staff regularly inspect the dormitories, providing peace of mind for students throughout their stay.

In our newly renovated triple, quadruple, and sextuple rooms, each student is provided with:

• A personal closet

• A lockable safety box (with key) for secure storage of valuables

• A mini electric fan installed near each bed, allowing for a cool and comfortable sleep even without using the air conditioner—especially helpful at night

These thoughtful features make 3D ACADEMY’s dormitories not only practical but also safe and student-friendly, supporting both rest and study during your time in Cebu.

6. What kind of facilities does 3D ACADEMY offer?

3D ACADEMY provides various school facilities on the 3rd and 4th floors of the building.
All areas are well-maintained and kept clean, ensuring a comfortable environment for students.

Cafeteria (Open 5:00 AM – 12:00 midnight)

A relaxing space where students can enjoy their meals and free time. A mini kitchen is also available.
If background chatter doesn’t bother you, it’s also a great spot to do some studying.

Study Room (Open 24 hours)

Our self-study room is open 24/7, allowing students to focus on their studies anytime—especially useful at night if you don’t want to disturb your roommates.
Please note: Silence is required inside the study room.

Powder Room (Women Only)

A special makeup and grooming area exclusively for female students staying in 4- and 6-bed rooms.
It’s a comfortable space to get ready without any hassle.

️ EOP Room (English Only Policy Room)

This room operates under our English Only Policy, encouraging students to speak only in English.
There’s also a table tennis table, making it a fun place to socialize and practice English at the same time.

Prayer Room

A dedicated space for Muslim students to pray, equipped with air conditioning for comfort.
