Yes, short-term students are welcome to use the dormitory at 3D ACADEMY. Whether you’re staying for just one week or several months, we provide clean, safe, and convenient accommodation options to make your study abroad experience comfortable and secure. The dormitory is especially ideal for first-time travelers or high school students, offering both flexibility and structure.
We offer several types of accommodations depending on your preferences and age:
Note: Students under 18 years of age can only stay in dorms approved for minors (on-campus and MIT Hotel).
Dormitory rooms are cleaned twice per week by housekeeping staff. Bedsheets are replaced weekly (once every 7 days). Students in external hotels may request additional changes. Please keep your room tidy and avoid leaving valuables out in the open.
Students are responsible for managing their own valuables. Please store important items in a locked suitcase or drawer. 3D ACADEMY is not liable for loss of personal belongings. For added safety:
Please note that Philippine plumbing systems are different from those in some other countries. Do not flush toilet paper down the toilet. Always use the provided waste bin next to the toilet. Flushing tissue can cause clogs, and repair costs may be charged to the student responsible.
Electricity is billed separately at the end of your stay. In shared rooms, the total cost is split among roommates. Air conditioners consume significantly more electricity than fans—please be mindful of usage.
Short-term students (1–2 weeks) will be billed based on average daily consumption. For longer stays, a weekly average is calculated. Final charges are deducted from your deposit. You can check your usage at any time by asking the office staff.
If any equipment or facilities in your room are broken (e.g., light, aircon, shower), please report it to the office immediately. Repairs will be arranged as soon as possible.
Laundry is collected twice a week on assigned days (varies by dorm). Clothes are returned in 3–5 days. Please count your items before submitting and use a laundry net for socks or undergarments. Be aware that detergent and water quality differ from Japan—do not submit delicate or expensive items.
To maintain a safe and respectful environment, we ask all students to follow these rules:
The school enforces a 23:00 curfew on regular days for all students staying in the on-campus dormitory. For minors, this curfew applies every day, including weekends. Security guards will check your student ID when entering at night. If you are not back by 23:00, a warning will be issued regardless of the reason.
The school entrance is locked from 23:00 to 5:00. Students may only leave during this time if they have a flight or scheduled tour with official documentation.
If you plan to stay overnight outside of the dorm, you must submit an Overnight Stay Form in advance. This rule especially applies to minors (under 18), who need parental consent for overnight trips. The form must be filled out during office hours.
For hotel dorm or commuting students, this form is not mandatory, but we recommend it if your trip overlaps with weekday classes.
If a room change is scheduled, you will be notified individually on Friday of the week before the move. Please prepare accordingly and notify staff if you have concerns.
Yes! In fact, the on-campus dormitory is specifically designed with the safety and needs of minors in mind. All facilities are located in one building—classrooms, cafeteria, dorms, and staff offices—so there is minimal need to travel off-campus. Dormitory staff, security personnel, and Japanese-speaking coordinators are available for support.
We recommend on-campus accommodation for all students under 18 to ensure proper supervision and timely assistance in case of any problems.

At 3D ACADEMY, our dormitory system ensures that all students—including short-term visitors—enjoy a safe, comfortable, and structured living environment. Whether you’re here for one week or one month, we want you to feel at home.
At 3D ACADEMY, we believe that real learning continues outside the classroom. That’s why we offer a wide range of after-class and weekend activities to help students enjoy their time in the Philippines while improving their English and making lifelong friends.
Every Monday through Thursday, we host fun and interactive activities on campus. These sessions are free and open to all students:
Once a month, students can join our Outreach Program and visit a local orphanage in Cebu City. This meaningful experience includes sharing snacks, playing games, and donating school supplies to local children. It’s a great way to connect with the community and see another side of Filipino culture.
Participation requires a small fee of 500 PHP and signing up in advance at the office. Many students find this program deeply rewarding and unforgettable.
Want to explore Cebu on your day off? We organize 1 to 3 school trips per month to famous tourist spots. These trips are safe, affordable, and a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of the Philippines.
These activities are a great way to practice real English conversation in a relaxed setting. Whether you’re here for one week or several months, you’ll make unforgettable memories through these shared experiences.
