About international travel insurance

International travel insurance is mandatory. Below are the insurers with which you can receive cashless treatment at Chong Hua Hospital Mandaue and the Kotobia clinic (UC Med), both used by our school. Carry a document that proves your insurance contract (for example, a certificate of coverage in English).

Partner hospitals

Chong Hua Hospital Mandaue / Kotobia Clinic (UC Med). At both, cashless treatment is available. If you feel unwell, first consult our Japanese staff. We will arrange the medical visit for you.

  • Document proving your insurance contract
  • Certificate of coverage in English
  • Passport (original or copy)
  • Student ID

On weekends, the waiting time for a consultation may be longer.

If you use the insurance that comes with your credit card

Terms of use and coverage vary by card company, so always confirm with them before you travel. If your coverage depends on having paid with the card, also bring: ① the receipt for the transportation you purchased (for example, the E-ticket, where the amount can be verified) and ② your card statement (showing that you actually paid with that card).

Knowing local costs in advance will give you peace of mind

The payments to be made in the Philippines may seem numerous, but if you know what they cover in advance, you can handle them without rushing on the day.

The content of this page is current as of August 2026. Fees and procedures may change, so always check the latest information with our school or with the agency through which you applied.
