For high school students—especially those under the age of 18—choosing the right English course is essential for a successful and enjoyable study abroad experience. At 3D ACADEMY, we offer a variety of English programs designed to match different age groups, learning levels, and goals. For teenage learners, we highly recommend the Power MTM (Man-to-Man) series, especially the Power MTM 5, 6, and 7 courses.
High school students often have very different learning needs compared to adults. Some may be shy or hesitant to speak in front of others, while others may have specific goals like preparing for exams or improving spoken English for travel or future studies. That’s why our Power MTM courses focus on one-on-one lessons with skilled, friendly instructors.
One-on-one classes allow students to:
This format is especially effective for young learners who may not yet feel confident in large group settings. Many of our teenage students tell us they feel more comfortable and motivated in one-on-one classes.
The Power MTM series includes three levels of intensity, giving students and parents flexibility to choose a pace that fits their schedule and personality:
Each one-on-one class is 50 minutes long, covering core skills such as speaking, listening, reading, grammar, vocabulary, and writing. Students can also join optional group classes to practice real conversation, presentations, or discussion on fun and practical topics.
The Power MTM system is highly adaptable to each student’s personality and goals. If a student is feeling tired or overwhelmed, teachers can adjust the class content or pace. For beginners, lessons can start with basic vocabulary and daily conversation, while intermediate and advanced learners can request more challenging content like debate, essay writing, or business phrases.
Unlike traditional classroom-based study, where students often feel lost or ignored, one-on-one classes keep learners engaged and supported. Many high school students find this personalized method more enjoyable and effective than regular English classes at home.
3D ACADEMY provides a safe and supportive environment for all students under 18 years old. We have clear curfews (11:00 PM daily), rules on supervision (minors cannot go out after 8:00 PM unless accompanied by an adult), and 24/7 security on campus. All minors are required to stay in our on-campus dormitory, located in the same building as classrooms and the cafeteria.
This all-in-one setup reduces the need for commuting and ensures that our staff can monitor students at all times. Dormitory managers and security guards check student IDs at night to ensure everyone has returned safely.
To make students and parents feel more at ease, 3D ACADEMY has a team of multilingual coordinators who speak Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, and English. These staff members are always available to help minors with academic concerns, health issues, or emotional support. Parents can also contact the coordinators in their own language to check on their child’s well-being.
Many high school students—especially those traveling abroad for the first time—feel nervous or homesick in the first week. Our staff are trained to gently support them through the adjustment process and help them gain confidence and independence over time.
Power MTM courses have proven to be especially effective for short-term improvement. Even students who stay for just 2 or 3 weeks often report major gains in speaking fluency and listening comprehension. The reason? In one-on-one classes, students talk and think in English continuously—often for over 5 hours a day.
Unlike group classes, where students speak only occasionally, MTM courses create a fully immersive learning experience. Students are challenged to respond quickly, think creatively, and learn from their mistakes in real time.
Many high school students choose 3D ACADEMY as preparation for studying abroad, applying to universities, or improving TOEIC/IELTS scores. Our instructors are experienced in helping young learners build not only English skills but also self-confidence and cultural adaptability.
The Power MTM structure allows students to focus on their personal goals—whether it’s mastering interview English, passing entrance exams, or preparing for life overseas.
If you’re not sure which version of Power MTM (5, 6, or 7) is best, don’t worry. Our staff can help evaluate your English level, goals, and preferred study intensity. Some students start with Power MTM 5 to ease into the schedule, and then upgrade to MTM 6 or 7 once they feel ready.
You can also customize your classes based on what you want to learn: conversation, writing, test prep, or travel English—it’s up to you.
At 3D ACADEMY, we believe that English learning should be fun, effective, and worry-free. That’s why our Power MTM courses are designed not only for academic success but also for personal growth. Many parents report that their children return home more confident, mature, and eager to speak English after studying with us.
Whether you’re planning a short-term trip during a school break or a long-term gap year, Power MTM at 3D ACADEMY is a smart and safe choice for high school students.

3D ACADEMY maintains a clear and structured curfew policy to ensure the safety, discipline, and well-being of all students—especially minors. Curfew rules vary depending on the student’s age and accommodation type, but the core purpose remains the same: to create a secure and responsible study environment.
For students staying in the on-campus dormitory, the daily curfew is 11:00 PM (23:00). All students are required to return to the campus by this time. After 11:00 PM, the school entrance is locked and no one is allowed to enter or exit until 5:00 AM.
Security guards check each student’s ID to confirm they have returned. Students must carry their student ID when going out and return it to its designated slot upon coming back to campus.
Students under 18 years of age must follow stricter guidelines. In addition to the 11:00 PM curfew, minors are not allowed to go out after 8:00 PM unless accompanied by someone aged 18 or older. This ensures proper supervision during evening hours.
If a minor fails to return by 11:00 PM without prior approval, they will receive a formal warning. Curfew rules remain in effect until the student officially checks out of the dormitory—even after the graduation ceremony.
Students aged 18 and above may choose to stay in hotel-type dormitories or commute from outside. These students are not subject to a strict curfew, but they cannot enter the school campus after 11:00 PM. If they leave the premises late at night, re-entry is only allowed after 5:00 AM.
Note: Hotel and external dormitories are only available for students 18 years old or above.
Our curfew policy is part of a broader effort to create a safe, respectful, and focused academic atmosphere. It gives students structure while also ensuring peace of mind for parents—especially those sending younger students abroad for the first time.
