At 3D ACADEMY, we understand how important it is for parents to stay connected and informed while their child is studying abroad—especially for those who are minors. That’s why we offer multiple systems of communication, safety checks, and progress reporting to ensure that families have peace of mind throughout the student’s stay.
Parents can contact the school easily and directly using a variety of tools, including:
Our multilingual staff—including Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, and English speakers—are always ready to assist. Parents are welcome to reach out in their native language for smooth and stress-free communication.
Each student is assigned a coordinator based on their nationality or language background. These coordinators play a key role in supporting the student and keeping the family informed. If your child is from Japan, for example, our Japanese staff will assist with everything from airport pickup to cultural adaptation—and will also serve as your main point of contact throughout the stay.
Coordinators regularly check in with students to monitor their health, emotional well-being, and class participation. If there are any issues or changes in behavior, they will contact parents directly and discuss possible actions or solutions.
We provide parents with regular updates on their child’s academic performance. These reports may include:
For long-term programs (e.g., more than four weeks), mid-term and final reports are issued. Parents can also request extra reports or ask to speak with teachers via our support staff.
3D ACADEMY has strict curfew rules in place to protect underage students. Our security team checks ID cards at 11:00 PM daily to ensure that all on-campus dormitory students have returned safely. For minors, there are extra rules: they must be back by 11:00 PM and cannot go out after 8:00 PM unless accompanied by someone aged 18 or older.
If a student fails to return on time or breaks curfew, our staff will immediately report the issue and contact the student’s parents. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for safety violations, which means that families are always notified about serious incidents or behavioral concerns.
To ensure proper supervision and safety, all students under 18 must stay in our on-campus dormitory. This facility is located in the same building as classrooms and offices, making it easy for staff to check in on students throughout the day. Dormitory managers are available 24/7, and they monitor student attendance, behavior, and emotional state.
If a minor feels unwell, is absent from class, or shows signs of stress, our dormitory team will notify the coordinator and take appropriate action—including contacting the parents if necessary.
In case of emergency—such as illness, injury, or urgent emotional distress—our staff are trained to respond quickly and professionally. Parents will be informed immediately by phone or email. The school also keeps records of nearby hospitals and clinics that are available for international students, and our coordinators can accompany the student if medical treatment is needed.
Before arrival, parents are encouraged to provide medical information or concerns so we can be prepared. In urgent cases, the school will prioritize the student’s safety first and communicate with the family as soon as possible.
Upon request, parents can receive photos of their child participating in lessons, meals, school events, or free time. This service is available through LINE, email, or other preferred platforms. Many families appreciate seeing their children adjusting well, smiling with friends, and enjoying campus life—it adds a personal sense of connection.
While we prioritize student privacy, we are happy to share occasional snapshots to reassure families that their children are doing well.
Studying abroad can be challenging for minors, especially in the first few weeks. Our team pays close attention to signs of culture shock, homesickness, or communication difficulties. If a student is struggling, our multilingual staff provide emotional support and regular check-ins.
Parents are encouraged to talk to their child often, especially during the adjustment period. Our coordinators can help facilitate video calls or pass on encouraging messages.
While the school provides full supervision, parental involvement is still important. Here are a few ways parents can support their child during the program:
The balance of school structure and family encouragement creates the ideal environment for growth.

If you have additional concerns or specific questions about how we support minors and communicate with families, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Our team is always happy to provide reassurance, share advice, and work closely with you throughout your child’s stay at 3D ACADEMY.
At 3D ACADEMY, we understand that sending a minor abroad is a big step for any parent. That’s why we have built a carefully structured system to keep underage students safe, supported, and well-guided throughout their stay. Our safety measures go beyond simple rules—they create an environment of care, protection, and trust.
All students staying in our on-campus dormitory must return by 11:00 PM (23:00) every night. This isn’t just a rule—it’s a routine that gives students a healthy balance of freedom and responsibility. After 11:00 PM, the main entrance is locked, and re-entry is not permitted until 5:00 AM.
For minors under 18, we enforce additional guidelines: they are not allowed to go out after 8:00 PM unless they are accompanied by someone 18 or older. This ensures they are never out alone at night, even in a relatively safe city like Cebu.
Every evening, our security team checks student ID cards to confirm each student has returned safely. When leaving campus, students are required to carry their ID, and upon return, place it in a designated slot that matches their room number. This simple system ensures we know exactly who is on campus—at all times.
For students under 18, staying in our on-campus dormitory is mandatory. This facility is located within the same building as classrooms, staff offices, the cafeteria, and study spaces. That means minors never need to travel alone between buildings or off-campus locations.
By keeping everything under one roof and having 24/7 staff on-site, we create a tightly monitored and fully supportive living environment.
Whether it’s a first overseas trip or part of a larger educational journey, studying abroad can be a transformative experience for teenagers. But it should never come at the cost of safety. Our policies—curfews, ID checks, 24-hour supervision, and multilingual support—are all built around one simple promise: your child is safe with us.
Parents can contact our team at any time to ask about their child’s well-being, receive updates, or request special support. At 3D ACADEMY, student safety isn’t just a policy—it’s our culture.
