As of 2025, there are no longer any COVID-19-related restrictions for entering the Philippines or attending 3D ACADEMY. The pandemic is officially over in terms of international travel policies, and both government and school regulations have returned to pre-COVID conditions. However, we understand that some students and families may still have lingering concerns. That’s why we’re providing this detailed update on what to expect when coming to study at 3D ACADEMY in 2025.
The Philippine government has completely lifted all COVID-19 entry requirements. This means:
No vaccination proof is needed
No PCR or antigen testing is required, either before departure or after arrival
No quarantine upon entry
No health declaration forms, tracing apps, or COVID insurance
Whether you are vaccinated or not, you are welcome to enter the Philippines freely, just like before the pandemic.
This policy applies to all nationalities and all visa types, including student visas, tourist visas, and special study permits.
At 3D ACADEMY, we have resumed 100% normal operations:
Face masks are optional, not required
Social distancing rules have been lifted
Classroom capacity is back to normal, with group classes, one-on-one sessions, and electives running smoothly
Dormitories and shared spaces are fully open
Cultural activities, weekend trips, and city excursions are all available again
In short, you can enjoy a full study abroad experience without pandemic restrictions.
We understand that some students may feel more comfortable taking extra precautions. At 3D ACADEMY, we respect each student’s individual choice. If you wish to:
Wear a face mask during class or in public
Carry personal hand sanitizer
Request private dining or isolated seating
Have a single room for added privacy
—we will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
We believe in a balanced approach: there is no longer a need for strict public rules, but we will always support personal safety and comfort.
Even though COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, we continue to maintain high hygiene standards across the campus, including:
Regular cleaning of classrooms, dormitories, and bathrooms
Ventilation of common areas
Hand sanitizers provided in public spaces
Proper food safety practices in the cafeteria
These are not specifically for COVID-19—they are just part of our ongoing commitment to student health and comfort.
If you ever feel unwell—whether it’s COVID-related or not—you are not alone.
3D ACADEMY provides:
Daily on-campus doctor visits on weekdays
Multilingual support staff who can assist you with medical concerns
Hospital accompaniment service in case you need advanced care
Cashless treatment options if you have proper travel insurance
While COVID is no longer a major concern in 2025, we are still fully prepared to help students handle any health-related issue, from colds and fevers to more serious conditions.
Even though the risk of COVID-19 is now very low, we understand that students may still catch a cold, flu, or stomach bug. If you experience symptoms that make you uncomfortable—such as fever, fatigue, or coughing—you can:
Speak to our on-site Japanese, Chinese, or Arabic-speaking staff
Request a consultation with our visiting doctor
Visit a local clinic or hospital with staff accompaniment
Use your travel insurance to receive treatment without cash payments (in most cases)
If COVID is suspected (though this is rare now), testing is still available at local clinics. We will never force quarantine, but we may suggest a few days of rest in your room, depending on your condition.
Our approach is supportive, not punitive—we focus on care and recovery, not enforcement.
The situation in Cebu and the Philippines as a whole has fully normalized. Here’s what you can expect:
No mask mandates in public
Restaurants, malls, gyms, and tourist attractions are open as usual
No social distancing rules in transportation or public events
Vaccination is widely available, though no longer required
The general population is back to regular daily life. For most people, COVID is now seen in the same category as seasonal flu—manageable and no longer a public health emergency.
Although restrictions are no longer in place, it may help you to know how 3D ACADEMY responded responsibly and effectively during the height of the pandemic. In 2020–2022, we:
Closed the campus temporarily in line with government policies
Shifted to online classes to support continued learning
Implemented strict health protocols upon reopening (distancing, masks, testing)
Supported students who remained in the Philippines with housing and medical care
Worked closely with embassies and consulates for student support
This shows our long-standing commitment to student safety and well-being, not just during the pandemic, but always.
In most cases, COVID-related insurance coverage is no longer required. However, we still recommend purchasing general travel insurance that includes:
Outpatient and inpatient medical care
Emergency treatment and ambulance services
Cashless payment options
Basic coverage for COVID or other respiratory illnesses (just in case)
We also remind students that credit card insurance is not enough in most situations, especially if you need hospital care. Please choose a proper overseas insurance policy before coming to the Philippines.
