From May 4, 2026, classes move to the new campus: the MIT Building. Here are the features of the new campus and the planned schedule.
We are pleased to announce that 3D ACADEMY is opening a new campus, and that from May 4, 2026 classes will operate in the new building.
The MIT Building, where the new campus opens, was built after the COVID-19 pandemic and is a relatively new building, only a few years old.
Since 2024 this building had been used as an external dorm, and since it kept operating stably even during last year's typhoons and earthquakes, it was decided to use it as the new campus from May 2026.
In the first stage, the classrooms, the student lounge and the office move to the fifth floor, and the new campus begins operating.

The MIT Building is about a one-minute walk from the current JY campus, so the location conditions hardly change. It is in a very convenient area, close to JY Square, and on the first floor there is a 7-Eleven open 24 hours and ATMs.
At the same time, compared with the current JY campus, the building is somewhat farther from the main road, so the surroundings are comparatively quiet and offer comfortable conditions for studying. In addition, the MIT Building where the school is being set up is, like the MIT external dorm, a residential complex, and it is located farther back than the building where the 7-Eleven is, so the nights are especially quiet: this is one of its great features.
For this reason, the complete move, including the student dorm, is planned for October 2026, and preparations are already under way.
See here the detailed guide on how to get from the old campus to the new MIT Building
The main feature of the new campus is that the one-on-one classrooms, the group classrooms, the student lounge and the office are all gathered together on a single floor: the fifth floor of the MIT Building.
Since all the functions the school needs are on the same floor, students do not have to move around much between classes and breaks. This lets them make better use of their available time and concentrate on studying in a comfortable environment.

The main feature of our school's one-on-one classrooms is that every one of them is a completely independent room. This creates an environment in which you can concentrate on the one-on-one class without being distracted by outside noise.
In addition, each classroom has a whiteboard, so the teacher can explain clearly while writing. Thanks to this, the classes are understandable even for those who are just starting to study English.

Sofas have also been installed inside the classrooms so you can rest.

The building is new and very clean, so you can study comfortably.

All the group classrooms are separated by glass panels, so you can also see what the class is like from the outside.

In the office and the student lounge there are many spaces where you can rest in peace.

The complete move, including the student dorm, is planned for October 2026.
With the complete move, the third floor will also be used as an additional part of the new campus. On the third floor, plans include a cafeteria, a kids' room and a game room, among other spaces. Please note that the MIT Building has no fourth floor, so the third and fifth floors are also easy to connect by the stairs.
As for the student dorm, 20 to 30 additional rooms are planned. There will be single rooms and rooms for 2, 3, 4 and 6 people, with a maximum capacity of about 120 people.
At the moment, partly because of the announcement of the move, reservations for the period after October 2026 already exceed those of 2025. This is especially noticeable for 6-person rooms, which can sell out 3 to 6 months in advance, so we recommend booking as early as possible.
For now, no price increase is planned: the school will continue operating with the current fee structure.
If you have any questions about the new campus, please feel free to contact us. We normally reply within 1 to 2 business days.
