フィリピン（セブ島）留学～3D講師陣紹介⑫Joyce

3D先生の紹介、今日は12人目。Joyceです！！！

彼女はMovie Understandingというグループ授業を担当しています。
今週すべてのグループ授業に参加（オブザーバーとして）する予定ですので、改めて報告できると思います。

それでは本人による英語での自己紹介です。

Studying English is important because:

If a person can speak English
well, he can communicate smoothly with people from different countries.

The knowledge of English can
make someone globally competitive.

A person who knows and can
speak the English language can have opportunities to be hired in a well known
company and may be well respected by others.

                  I’m
Josephine Q. Barriga, 28 years old and a graduate of Cebu Normal University,
major in English. I am a Group Class teacher in 3D Universal English Institute
Incorporation. I have been teaching in this prestigious academy for quite some
time now and I have imparted a lot of knowledge on my learners, which did not
only help them become competitive inside the four walls of the academy but also
when they get involved with situations wherein they have to use the English
language in dealing with the locals or other foreign people. I can say that I
am a cheerful and interactive person. I can easily adjust to the different
characteristics of my students and at the same time achieve my objective for
the day.

                  In
the academy, I focus on working and looking for ways to better equip myself for
academic challenges. At home I enjoy surfing the web, watching TV, bonding with
family members and sometimes busy myself with reading worthwhile books. When I
get the chance, I hang out with friends too.

                  With
regards to my forte in teaching, I am very particular with pronunciation. I let
my students read words out loud so I can assess and point out which one needs
improvement. I am also knowledgeable when it comes to grammar and other aspects
in English but I put my focus on the proper way of speaking the language, then
the others will follow.
