Spanish intern in the House!! First week as an intern at 3D Academy~~

After traveling some months around Asia I come to Cebu to prepare for the IELTS exam and to help the team with online marketing. I’m pretty excited about all the new things I’m going to learn and about being part of this great family.

Flight to Cebu, Getting excited

My name is Paco and I’m from Spain!! I studied Business Administration and worked 2 years before I decided to go traveling!! It was a really difficult decision but until now, I am so glad I made it. 🙂 Two weeks ago I was in Hong Kong ready to come to the Philippines but I didn’t know what to do, since a project I was going to volunteer on was suddenly canceled. Fortunately, I found 3D Universal Academy and their internship opportunity and decided to apply. 10 minutes later, I was having an interview on skype and in the afternoon all the paperwork was done and was told all the details of the internship…. wonderful!!

Arrival to Cebu – Wonderful!!

I was very well informed and always felt supported by the academy’s staff which make me feel relaxed and eager to start. Once in Cebu, I was picked up from the airport and guided throughout all the school’s facilities, which I really appreciate. The academy has two buildings (one recently opened) with lots of classrooms, bedrooms, common rooms, kitchen, and so on. The atmosphere here is amazing with many smiley students and qualified teachers.

As an intern, I attend 4 classes (two of them are 1 to 1, where you practice a lot) to prepare for the IELTS exam and in the afternoon I work 4 hours in the office with the team, and in my case, the job is related with marketing. The academy also provide free accommodation and delicious meals.

At the same time as me, another 6 students joined the academy and from the very beginning everything was smooth and clear. I’m really motivated to study hard and help the team as much as I can. I really looking forward to the following weeks.
